For over ten years I’ve been trying money-making methods for myself — matched betting, mystery shopping, cashback, market research and plenty that didn’t make the cut. This site is what I’ve learned, minus the hype.
Why this site exists
I started making money on the side more than a decade ago, and quickly noticed that most “make money online” advice comes from people who’ve never done it — or who earn their real money selling courses about it. So I did it the slow way instead: actually signing up, actually completing the tasks, actually cashing out.
Four years ago I turned those notes into MakeMoneyOnline.Live. Everything here follows one rule: if I wouldn’t recommend it to a mate over a pint, it doesn’t go on the site.
How things earn a place here
Every method on this site passes the same three tests: you can start it free (no upfront costs, kits or courses), you can verify it yourself (nothing you have to take on trust), and we give realistic earnings — the numbers ordinary people actually make, not the best-case fantasy from an advert. Where I’ve tested something personally, I say what it paid; where an offer has changed since I used it, I check the current terms before recommending it.
